Who sets up the Castle?

The Jumping Castle will be set up by an experienced Megajumps staff member (approximately 20 minutes) prior to your hire start time. We will return after your hire finish time to dismantle and pack-up the unit (approximately 20 minutes).

Does someone need to supervise the Castle?

Yes. For the safety of the children using the unit, a responsible adult over 18 years must supervise at all times. Training and instructions will be provided after set up.

Can you provide Supervision?

Yes. For 'Private Events', Megajumps can provide an experienced staff member to supervise your event at an additional charge of $40 per hour. For 'Corporate Events', supervision is mandatory and is included in the Hire charge. For all corporate enquiries, please contact Megajumps for a free quote to meet the needs of your event or function.

Do I need to pay a Deposit?

No. Megajumps does not require any deposit.

When should I pay?

Payment in full is required upon completion of the initial setup of your Megajumps unit(s), unless previously arranged with a staff member from Megajumps.

How can I pay?

Megajumps offer the following payment options - Cash On Delivery, Bank Cheque and Direct Deposit. Gift Vouchers can also be used.

Is there a delivery charge?

What happens if I cancel a booking?

Megajumps would appreciate as much notice as possible for any cancellations, but also understands that certain things may arise that require you to cancel your booking. Megajumps will NOT charge a cancellation fee if done so 7 days or more from the booking start time. If you cancel within 7 days of your booking start time, a cancellation fee of $50 will be imposed and payable to Megajumps.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of very strong winds and/or rain, your booking may be cancelled. We will phone you to see if you would like to rebook for another day. To view the weather in your area, please visit Geelong weather forecast.

What happens if it rains partway through my hire?

If, upon arrival to the destination of setup, the weather may look like becoming unsuitable for the party or event, we will give you the option of cancelling your event prior to setup, with no penalty. If you decide to go ahead with your booking, no refunds will be given if the weather does turn bad and the inflatable becomes unusable due to bad weather conditions. Megajumps can provide a rain/sun cover for all inflatables (excluding Bungee Run.) If it rains and the stops, it is important to dry the jumping castle with a hand towel to ensure safety for all users.

Where can the unit be setup?

Megajumps products require a flat surface to be setup on. Slight inclines are Ok, however please check with a staff member prior to booking. All inflatables come with a protective tarp to go underneath, however Megajumps may decline a location if we have reason to believe there may be damage caused to the inflatable unit.

Can I have the Castle set up in a Park?

Yes. Megajumps can setup in public areas, however we must obtain council approval prior to doing so. Megajumps will take care of the approval for you. For this we recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance. An additional administration fee of $30 is payable. This cost is non-refundable.

What if there is no access to power?

Megajumps have you covered. A power generator can be hired at an additional cost of $110.

Can I purchase Gift Vouchers?

Yes. Megajumps offer Gift Vouchers in denominations of $20, $50 and $100. You will want to share the incredible fun you had on your day with other friends and family members. Vouchers can be purchased on the day of your event and are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Gift Vouchers can be used at any time to hire any of our fantastic inflatable products.
